St. Christina, an enchanting mountain village in the heart of the breathtaking Dolomites. It is an ideal starting point for hikes and, in winter, for skiing in the popular Dolomites Val Gardena / Gröden ski area. The village offers picturesque scenery and cultural treasures such as the Fischburg castle surrounded by numerous fish ponds and a spherical equatorial sundial with a diameter of 2 metres. As a smaller village in the Val Gardena valley, it is quieter than its neighbouring villages, but still centrally located.
Hiking and skiing in St. Christina
In St. Christina, you will find hikes such as the Legends Trail to St. Jacob's Church, the trail to the Sëurasas Alm and the Circuit of the Langkofel Group, which are suitable for beginners to experienced hikers. Other popular destinations include the Col Raiser and Seceda with their panoramic views.
