At an altitude of 1,020 metres, Tiers am Rosengarten lies on a sunny slope with a view of the Rosengarten peaks. The Tiers Valley stretches from the Eisack to the Rosengarten chain and encompasses around 4,208 hectares of nature, forest and mountains, most of which are part of the Schlern Nature Park. The first guests came to the healing Weißlahnbad spring in 1811. In winter, Tiers offers winter hiking, tobogganing and ice skating; the free shuttle bus takes you to the Rosengarten-Karersee ski carousel (40 km of slopes). Tiers is the starting point for wonderful hikes in the Schlern area and the Rosengarten – pure nature, panoramic views and alpine moments. Come and visit us!

Tiers offers hikes for all levels of difficulty: from family-friendly trails to alpine pastures to challenging via ferrata routes in the Rosengarten area, which is popular with mountain and climbing enthusiasts. Recommended destinations include the Tschafon mountain, the Rosengarten, the Schlern and the Latemar. Numerous alpine huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat along the way. The surrounding area also offers mountain biking, horse riding and swimming. In bad weather, the Acquarena in Brixen provides relaxation and fun.
