Sarner feather embroidery, lively Advent rituals and rural crafts – history comes alive in historic farmhouses. The Rohrerhaus museum tells the story of the lives of the farmers of the Sarntal valley. White mountain dreams: winter sports, romance & tradition

Experience winter fun in the <Reinswald ski area – with approx. 22 km of slopes, chairlift and gondola lift – perfect for all skill levels. Take a deep breath while cross-country skiing in the Pensertal valley with over 20 km of groomed trails for classic technique and skating – rewarded with breathtaking views. Enjoy winter hikes and snowshoe tours through snow-covered forests to managed alpine pastures or vantage points such as Getrumalm and Auener Jöchl. Easy tobogganing for families and romantic sleigh rides.
For a cosy finale, we recommend a visit to the Alpenadvent Sarntal – a traditional Christmas market with handicrafts, a live nativity scene and regional delicacies.
