La Villa-San Cassiano-Pedraies is an area in Alta Badia (High Abbey), South Tyrol, known for its breathtaking natural beauty in the Dolomites. Popular hikes near La Villa include the trip to the picturesque Lake Sompunt, an easy hike for the whole family, and the gondola ride to the Piz la Ila high plateau with its numerous trails and panoramic views. For more experienced hikers, there is the ascent to Sassongher, a peak with an impressive 360-degree panorama of the Dolomites. Other options include hikes to the Holy Cross or to Gardenacia.
