Dolomites – The pale mountains

Experience the majestic beauty of the Dolomites – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and paradise for mountain lovers.

About the Dolomites

The Dolomites are much more than just a mountain range ⛰️ – they are a natural wonder that amazes the world. This UNESCO World Heritage Site stretches across South Tyrol and the neighbouring provinces and impresses with bizarre rock formations, vertical rock faces and the legendary Alpenglow 🌄, when the mountains glow in shades of pink and red at sunset. The characteristic ‘pale mountains’, as Reinhold Messner calls them, are a geological masterpiece of 250 million years of Earth's history.
