Holiday resort Andrian in South Tyrol - an idyllic paradise
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the South Tyrolean landscape
Welcome to Andrian
The municipality of Andrian, covering an area of around 490 hectares, of which around 100 hectares are planted with vines, is one of the smallest municipalities in South Tyrol. Nestled among the orchards and vineyards of South Tyrol, Andrian enjoys a peaceful location at 285 metres above sea level between Bolzano and Merano.
Experience Andrian
text_dt2The Andrianer Kellereigenossenschaft (Andrian Wine Cooperative), founded in 1893 and thus the oldest winery in South Tyrol, is well worth a visit. Also interesting are the castle ruins of Festenstein, Wolfsturm and Sternbauer in the village centre. For children, we recommend the forest playground with forest kitchen, tree house and many other attractions – a real highlight. In addition, the spacious swimming pool right on the edge of the forest invites you to linger.
Culture in Andrian
It is the Mediterranean climate, the southern architectural style and the friendliness of the people that give the small holiday resort of Andrian its special charm. The parish church of St. Valentine dominates the overall appearance of Andrian, as it does in other South Tyrolean villages. Although it is not particularly significant from an art-historical point of view, it is nevertheless an imposing and carefully maintained sanctuary.
