Taufers im Münster
Taufers im Münstertal is the westernmost village in South Tyrol, on the border with Switzerland, and a centre for Romanesque culture and hiking. Important sights include the Romanesque St. Johann Church, the St. Michael Parish Museum and the Rotund and Reichenberg castle ruins. The village is the starting point for hikes in the Stelvio National Park and is known for its winter bell-ringing custom.

A Romanesque church from the 9th century with late Romanesque frescoes and a groined vault.
- St. Michael Parish Museum:
A museum housed in the St. Michael cemetery chapel, which contains ecclesiastical treasures.
- Castle ruins:
The ruins of Rotund and Reichenberg castles, also dating from the 9th century, are well worth seeing.
- Müstair Monastery:
The famous Romanesque monastery in neighbouring Switzerland is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
