Built in 1332, only the lower part of the bell tower of the chapel of St. Georgs remains intact with its Romanesque full-center arch windows. The bell tower's red roof was built in 1739. The last conservation works on the chapel's interior which gave it a Neo-Romanesque touch date back to the second half of the 19th century. In 1772 the artist Karl Hernrici decorated the ceiling with three marvelous paintings.
