Seis, praised already in ancient verses of the Middle Ages, developed as a spa resort before the beginning of this century, is now one of the most traditional tourist resorts of the area. Registrations in its guestbooks remind of visits by King Friedrich August von Sachsen, Max Valier, Sigurd Ibsen, Arturo Toscanini and other important people.
