The castle was constructed in years 1272 to 1282 and preserved relatively well its initial form. At the 16th Century and around 1700 occurred some conversions. The castle then served the bishops as a flight residence from Chur. During restoration carried out 3 years ago exemplar, the tower assailed partially was also reconstructed. The agriculture school is put in the historical building today.
