It is a late Romanesque chapel with barrel vault, semi-circular apse and a short bell-tower. The 17th-century frescoes on the outer wall show the miraculous rescue of the Platzlinder meadow: God throws his lightning bolts from the clouds and Saints Cyprian and Justin open their cloaks to protect the meadow and the grazing sheep. This painting is based on a legend handed down orally, which confirms that the original center of Tiers is not where it stands today but in St. Zyprian.
