The Parish Church was first documented in 1191 but it is certainly older. It was transformed into a Gothic church with three naves in classic style under the direction of the architect from Bolzano Matthäus Wachter. The finest works of art are to be found in the presbytery which accommodates a splendid marble altar by Teodoro Benedetti from Mori, as well as an altarpiece by Michelangelo Unterberger from Cavalese, director of the Vienna Academy of Art.
